Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 16, 2026 · Last updated: June 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Those Guys LLC, located in Miami, Florida, United States ("Those Guys," "we," "us," or "our"), handles personal information in connection with the Myximus websites, applications, and services (the "Service"). Privacy is the product, so we collect as little as possible and never sell what we hold.

We don't sell your data

We have never sold personal information and we never will — to anyone, for any purpose.

VPN traffic isn't logged

We do not log the contents, destinations, or browsing history of your VPN or DNS traffic.

Scans aren't stored

Scanner results are processed in your session and are not retained afterward.

Email, only for accounts

We collect an email address solely to create and manage your account.

1. Information we collect

We deliberately minimize what we collect:

2. What we do not collect or do

3. How we use information

We use the limited information we collect to: create and manage your account; deliver, activate, and validate licenses; provide customer support; send essential transactional messages (such as receipts and license keys); operate, secure, and improve the Service; and comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal information on these legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you purchased or signed up for); legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service, in a way that does not override your rights); legal obligation (such as tax and accounting); and consent where required, which you may withdraw at any time.

5. Payments & Paddle

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for purchases of Myximus products. When you check out, Paddle collects and processes the payment information necessary to complete your transaction and handles billing, sales tax, and VAT. Paddle's handling of your information is governed by Paddle's own privacy policy. We receive only the limited order details described in Section 1.

6. Sharing & disclosure

We share personal information only with: service providers who process it on our behalf to run the Service (for example, our payment provider Paddle and our hosting and email-delivery infrastructure), under obligations of confidentiality; and where required by law, such as to comply with a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, users, and the public. If we are ever involved in a merger or asset sale, we will require any successor to honor this Policy. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here: account and license records for as long as your account is active; purchase and tax records for the period required by law; and operational logs for a short period before deletion or anonymization. Scan results and VPN traffic are not retained as described above. You may request deletion of your account at any time.

8. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

For California residents under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still exercise your other rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

To exercise any right, email privacy@myximus.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by law.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Security

We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls, and data minimization — the less we hold, the less is at risk. No system is perfectly secure, but we design the Service to keep your exposure to a minimum.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
